Hi all. I know that it has been a while since I posted on a regular basis but in the upcoming year I hope to be able to participate more in our circle and with all of you in the St Louis area. My wife Passed away on the 23rd of October from complications of cancer. The last three years have been a roller coaster and thus I have been unable to play. I do however have about three projects that are ready to start on and I will be posting about my progress over the winter. I'm still around and some of you have my number. I hope that all is well with all of you and I'll talk to you later.

Golly, G, I'm so sorry to hear about 'Mo'.  She was a nice lady and you guys made a great pair when I had the chance to visit.
May you only love her more and pain in missing her less.

Thanks Fish. Are you still living in the same place? I'm in the same place. Let's get together and listen to some stuff sometime. PM me your # as I doubt that I could find it right now if I had to. Also, thanks for calling the other night Steve. I had company and by the time they left it was just too late to talk. I hope you got my message and I would still like to talk sometime. I went to counseling today and it helped a little I think. Getting things back into perspective and learning to be a whole person again is going to take a while. Thank you all for your kind words but I really just wanted to get back in touch with everyone. I don't want to wallow in self pity. Sometime in the next few weeks I'm going to muster up the gumption to get started on a 396A para-feed preamp with regulated power supply. Then on to modding a NOS DAC I picked up on Ebay with Burson regulators and new caps.......etc. Then finally I will build the monster 1.5W 12B4A amplifier (also with regulated supply). So basically I have the parts for an entire system minus the source in my mad scientist basement shop. Now all I have to do is go do it.

G, I never met you or your wife, but I am sure she wouldn't want you to beat yourself up in sorrow.  Celebrate what you had, honor her memory, but live your life out in a way that can bring you some happiness.  Your writing seems to indicate that you've started to do that.

We've never met but I watched SteveK cope with his  loss and I'm just blown away by how you're getting back on the horse as Steve did.  It's inspiring and I look forward to meeting you sometime. Thanks for sharing.
