I have 3 LS9's accross the front luckily, but would still like to see how a LSC matches.

Nice. :thumb:

I'm considering going with (3) LS-C's across the front for our HT. :D

I guess its my turn to chime in!  :D

My front sound stage is finally complete now that I have the LS-C. To give a little history I have paired a few different center channels with my LS6s. First started with the bigfoot sig, then a phantom center for a few months, followed by an X-voce, then an Emotiva 6.3. Nothing sounded right paired with the LS6s. The main problem was the higher frequencies. None of these center channels could come remotely close to the quality of the LS6s.

So I contacted Ruben... and I must say the build quality of this speaker is amazing. By far the best built and finished speaker I have owned. Zero flaws in the cabinet, no seams, specs, etc.

Overall... big improvement to my system. Even my wife... who has no interest in this hobby and frequently rolls her eyes at it, heard a very noticeable improvement right away.

Thanks again Danny and Ruben!

thanks for your comments Steve......i am now eyeing the new DHC-Integra 80.3 !!  need some funds!!!!  how are the babies ??

The kids are getting some new power to help them grow.  Most people that listen to them are blow away with the clarity and dynamics.  The new amp and pre amp should be in place by the middle of Novembr.  Are you and Kurt up for a Man Cave Reveal?

Kurt,

Waz Up! New Center Channel!
After Helen and I uncrated the LS6 and positioned them in the living room she became very sad about my encroachment into her carefully engineered space.  She threw down her purse and announced that she was going to dinner and I was not invited to go along.  By the time she came back they were wired and fired.  Ok let's hear these things.

I put on her favorite cut of music.  She got goosebumps.

"Your brother can have those old speakers" reffering to the Rocket 850's "I like these"

Now she rolls her eyes when people talk about the size of the LS6's.  Then she asks if they would like a listen.

I know that eye rolling thing all too well.  But they love the way they sound

Big overall improvement, especially for dialogues. Everything is much cleaner... but not too harsh or bright. My guess is the sound will improve even more over the next few weeks as it burns in. I ended up trading in my wyred SX1000 monoblocks for their mini-5 (5x200) amp, so the center is getting much cleaner power than before.

You are indeed fortunate that your wife loves the speakers. Makes these things so much easier.

My wife likes them OK, but would rather read a book than listen to music - makes it tougher.

I would love it if Anne were as enthusiastic as Helen (altough I mentioned a Napa trip in the future and she was enthusiastic about that)

She seemed like a really good sport at the GTG in San Jose.

If you guys do come up we would be happy to assist in setting your agenda.
We have many friends in low places at alot of Sonoma wineries.  They are the ones that matter.

The first weekend in March is the Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Barrell tasting.  Taste out of the barrel and buy futures.

We might wanna get together before that.
