Now that I've sorted out what the room needs, the only thing I need to change are the speakers. Otherwise, I love the way my rig sounds.

No. I'm one of the dumb asses who sold a system they were completely happy with when the home theater bug struck a few years back. Now, my HT gear ain't shabby - Anthem Pre/pro and amp, but it's not the same. The magic when listening to music is completely gone. I'm in the process of fixing that, and hope to have a system even better than I originally had by the end of summer. Starting with a blank slate is tougher than I thought it would be. Lot's of choices these days.

What a bunch of liars.  90% say they are satisfied, yet audiophiles are constantly swapping gear.   All that box swapping from just 10% of us?  Please.   Audiophiles can't be trusted to answer this poll honestly. 

Except for me of course.  I really am happy with my rig.   :lol:

Real happy with mine, and if I had to stop, I would be just peachy with that. With that being said, I'm doing very small things, like new tubes in my AVA Ultra pre. Or a new Silflex toslink that arrived yesterday that made me sit up and take notice. Soon to be getting a K&K Audio premium sut kit for my analog rig. And finally, I wouldn't mind sending my Ultra back to Frank for the active device upgrade. So, I'm looking at relatively small things to try or tweak, all the major players are aquired, and staying for a long time. Ok, so I'm like 2 upgrades away.....who am I kidding, I'll never be done. :lol: :duh:

I've worked for a couple of audio companies now, and still don't have a full system, but I have dreams and plans as soon as I can make some room.. :duh:

Well considering that I am only intending to keep my CD player and Tuner, I said no.

Hard part is determining what to upgrade first. Integrated amp, DAC, Turntable, speakers and so on. :?

I'm really happy but I want to DIY a sweet integrated with optical volume, HT Bypass, maybe tube line stage, and new Hypex Ncore amps. So yeah I'm just peachy.

Oh yeah I want to try some of these new tubes out of China in my tube amp.

Ok I'm totally infected. Rofl
