i have now spent many hours listening to this latest SALK reference speaker
 first let me tell you the tweeter is the Raal ribbon, the midrange is the Accuton 5 inch ceramic driver and the Bass is the Wiggins Anarchy 6.5 inch driver rear ported with DENNIS AND JIM spending several extra days to get the bass to go lower now it is there to  40hz and this speaker is seamless this speaker just dissapears i had the Auri caps installed for the tweeter and mids JIM was kind enough to bypass these with the Sonicap platinum bypass caps it took a solid 400 hrs to fully
open up.I am  still running a sub at times  under 45hz duties.
the DYnaudio C1which was almost $3K more that was brought over  IS NOT AS DETAILED or as cohesive the 3rd driver when using the best xover and parts just allows more things to happen.this is the best under $10k monitor on the market.

it is also beautiful with the solid Cocobolo front and black for the sides and top .specs are 25 H X 9W 14 D AND 56LBS EACH!! thanks JIM, AND DENNIS,Paul L.

I'm glad to hear the speaker is holding up over the long term.  One point--I didn't adjust the crossover to get lower bass--that's set by the box tuning, which wasn't changed.   I just brought down the mids and highs a little to provide more bass foundation, since you are using these speakers as mains, while the original design was for surround duty.
