I am looking at the N3 tower, and have read that there is also a N3 TL tower....are they the same thing? would this be a good choice? I currently have a pair of monitor audio 2-ways on stands and they are fine, but i have had bookshelf /speaker stands for he past 30 years and i am tired of them. Would like either larger monitors, or towers. Budget is in the $700 area.

Same thing. It's a transmission line design.

And they use the same woofers as your A/V-3S and will match well.

thanks danny...so basically i can choose sealed or TL and be ok with either? And when i order i should do all the upgrades available too?

I have been debating this or the swans 5.1 or 5.2...one i just open the box and plug it in...the other i get to build something...but is there a premade box available that you know for the N3 either sealed or tower?

It depends on how good you want it to sound.

Ruben can build you some N3 cabinets in beautiful automotive finishes. Or Ron Joyner is pretty good with the Cherry veneer...

There is a box available from PE that can be used in a sealed application too.
