You think that a $1.25 connector is adequate for a $300 cable. I don't!

It's adequate if it does the job that it's asked to do.

My job is to find the best materials I can. Best meaning best sounding and best construction quality, best long term durability and greatest lasting value.

What is your point anyway?

I ordered 10 Amphenol and 4 of the Furutech and along with the Canare's I have, I'll do a shootout. Again someone paying north of $300 for a cable wants something better than a $1.25 connector.

A reasonable approach. Ideally you'd be able to get access to a TDR and combine your listening and build observations with signal measurements, but that may not be readily available. Good luck with the effort.

Thanks...I'll write up a report along with electrical specs of the same cable with the different BNC's once they all come in and I have a chance to play with them.
