Hey all I just finish my open baffle speakers .. let me say these were a pair that I own and love them but I felt that the speakers were to big so I had to cut them down a bit and dress them up ..


These are the audio nirvana super 12inches cast frames ..

I have added brass binding post to them I use sliver wire to connect them to the speakers as you can see . I also use the same wire to connect them to the binding post ..

Mind you these were pretty big at the start when i first made them but I just couldn't see them that big in my room ...

I added a touch of my own to them so here goes ..

Can you post a close-up of that embossed logo / graphic? How did you do that?

Hey I was in home depot it's a trim that is use on doors and it look nice all wood it's not that thick the cost was like 3.39 each the button on the speakers were tap with a 3/4counter sink the cost of 40 buttons at ace hardware was 5 bucks the side trim was a home depot which is also a wood trim for doors a other 10bucks so i didn't spend much just put a bit of thought and there they are will post better pictures .

Hey I think i finish the audio room for now till I get a other itch ,,

the speakers are the same , i just added this integrated amp Custom made S-5 electronics 8 watt/channel stereo integrated tube amplifier, using four  11MS8 tubes i added the tube dampers to it ..

10 ft pair of Straight Wire Stage speaker cables terminated on both ends with BFA bananas. interconnect are 1 meter pair of Tributaries RCA cables, marked A2 Silver,

1 meter pair of Phoenix Gold Pro Series Symmetry Cable with locking RCAs and directional arrows on the cables.

I have a tube buffer by Z-Man Audio Signal Enhancer. between that i have a Taddeo Digital Antidote,

Using a denon 3900 CD DVD player . the TT you see is not being use as I await a find on a new TT 

Theta Cobalt 307 DAC  is not being use either will post it up for sale .

Trying to keep it sweet and simple and loving the sound .
