Hi to all,

On monday I had the opportunity to go up in the real Rocky Mountain thanks to Ewing and his wife Stacy.

Finaly got back home after a looooong way in several planes.
Never had to explain so many times what I had in my cam-bag.
In every securitycheck the bells rang an red light flashed. There was a class A powersupply inside my bag wich probably looked like something else :o

Thanks again to everyone I met for the compliments and wonderfull days in Denver.
It was really a great experience to me introducing Musical Reality at the RMAF.

I am very satisfied with the design of the Virtual Music System by 'simplicity'.

Just the EERA Tentation as source connected to the KR Kronzilla SXI mk II driving the VR 35 at extra ordinary level as Martin mentioned before.

I will put some more pictures on line when I find some time.
For now there is work to do first.

Good luck,

Cor

A quick survey from the people that have heard both VR-33 and the VR-35 speakers. Would you spend the extra $4,200 on the VR-35 to upgrade. Was the improvement more the speakers or the electronic?
My electronics are mid-level Krell S-300i, Eastern Electric MiniMax CD, OPPO 83SE, DACmagic, APPLE mini.

Hi CGull,

Rule one:
A speaker does what the electronics say.

Rule two:
When the electronics are very good they deserve good / better speakers.

The VR 33 is really good but the VR 35 is even better.

That was shown and heard in the different VSA rooms.

Your system can handle the VR 35 for sure.

Rule three:

Connect a set of VSA's of your choice, the music will always be better.

Good luck,

Cor

Cor,
I have had the VR-33's since June, and they put life back into my system. I'm listening a few hours a day compared to 15 to 30 min with my old speakers. So i agree fully with what VSA can do to any system.
What did you hear different between the two? Are the gains in details, bass, imaging, etc. Any comments would be helpful for me to decide if I'm going to upgrade.
Do you know of any reviews coming out of the VR-35 from the people that reviwed the VR-33?

Hi Chris,

We were so bussy that I hardly had time to visit the other rooms with the VR 33. I only heard the VR 33 in room 509 for a short while. There was a difference. The VR 35 has more soundstage and reality to me. Vocals are more human the micro information of a bass string reminds me easy to a real bass. You feel the music easier. As Martin already wrote when you are in a other place close to the VR 35 your mind thinks there is real music. This is all about Psyco Acoustics. I know this is personal but the VR 35 sounds very close to reality. There is a review coming up after a few weeks.

Hold on, Cor

I lust for one of those refurbished reel to reels but with the lack of tapes and the deterioration factor, probably will never go there.

I purchased a Sony TC 160,, i think it was,, back around 1970.. It had the "slant" front  I was in military service,, and a friend was heading to Thailand to support air combat missions and I had him purchase for me thru the P/Bx.. I had tapped the Nixon resignation speech on it,, and saved those (and lots more),,, BASF reels alot longer then the deck held up.. Don't know what was worse,, tape hiss or vinyl pops!  At the time,, Teac was the deck to have.. My Sansui receiver, Dual 1209 (and then 1229) TT, and sansui SP 2500's were just awesome..   Life was pretty damn simple then,, or maybe not..  Jack

...a lot simpler and in many ways, a lot better!
