Questions regarding HT room construction/system setup

I am constructing a new HT room as part of my major house remodel. I am looking to do a few things:
1/ purchase a new motorized screen and get it installed;
2/ have an existing projector installed and calibrated;
3/ install a few conduits behind the walls so I can run some HDMI cables between HT Receiver and TV, between HT Receiver and Projector, and between HT Receiver and speakers. (I want conduits so I can change cables)

I have the discontinued Pioneer Elite projector (same as the then top of the line JVC model). I am thinking of purchasing the Vutec Lectric III tensioned screen. Per the manufacturer's spec, the screen would need to be calibrated.

Just wondering whom I should be calling? The local electronic retailers just want to sell me equipment. Since the only thing I will be buying is the projection screen and the HT receiver, they don't seem too eager to help.

Can the electrician handle installing the conduits behind the walls?

Can I just purchase the screen from an online retailer and have the contractor install it, and calibrate it myself?

Can I run an 35 feet HDMI cable from the HT receiver to the Projector? If not, what are other alternatives?

An electrician should be able to handle conduit.  For the screen, the electrician should be able to install that, too.  Should should be able to run 35 feet of HDMI; I'd add in in the conduit.  There are alternatives, but they get relatively expensive.

As far as calibration, you could likely do that yourself, but you'll need some equipment.  You could also pay someone to do it.  Here's a good forum for this:

Check the BlueJeansCable site for a good quality, low priced extra long HDMI cable. They might do custom lengths if they don't have a 35' run.

On the conduit issue, don't forget about the size of the connector when you choose the inside diameter of the conduit. Don't wanna go too small (like I did). Also might want to have multiple runs of conduit, just in case you need more. Also, don't let the installer run the 110 volt along side the video. Use metal too.
