I just recently built a new rack, and i am able to use my old turntable (yamaha). It has been over 10 years, but it still works fine. My question, is regarding the vinyl. In the past I used the discwasher to clean & remove dust, is this still the best method? Also I have the old stylus cleaner as well, that has the mirror on 1 side, and felt on the other.

Disc Doctor miracle cleaner.  More expensive, but definitely worth it.

I always use the Discwasher and a few drops of demineralized water to remove dust before playing my records.  There's a trick to using it and takes time to learn.  It is not to *wash* records, though...
