Hi we were given this screen but dont know how to wire it or if its even worth keeping. It came out of an office and is approx 9' long and screen is approx 87". I am attaching a few photos for advise, ditch it now or is it of some value and can be utilized for HT screen when time comes?
Maybe it can be used as a manuel? Thanks for input.

Edit: I found some id, its a Draper access series V used for office display. They cost approx $1800 but I have no way of knowing what the screen is far as ratio is concerned. How would I find out aspec ratio and if it will work for HT? I dont know if I should keep or try to sell if possible?

Check here for install instructions and information about the screen.  If you wanted to use it, worst case you can probably take it apart and use it as a permanently in place screen though historically office screens have not been 16x9 format.

Since this came from an office, based on what you said, I would guess it's 84x84.

Ideally, it would be 16:9

But, I think you could make this work, depends if you are willing to live with something that is less then optimal.

You can control how far down it goes, so you can put it down to as far as you need, for the bottom, and make a masking system for the top.  There are guys at avsforum that have made masking systems, for going between 16:9 and 1:2.35

You could also paint the top black, I have seen posts by guys who have painted manual and electric screens.  Need to use the right technique, to make sure you don't put too much paint on it, but since this is not part of the screen you are using, shouldn't be too hard.

It is tab tensioned, which is a good thing, it will keep the screen from developing waves, which happens with cheaper electric and manual screens.
