 Hi James,

I notice that across the models of the new SST(2) amps that there are new SST(2) output devices. Could you describe the changes from the output devices on the older SST amps?

Thanks, James

HI Moon Doggy,

The output devices are the same in the SST series including the new SST SQ.  Where did you see the reference to the change in output device?

Hi James,
From the features list on the pages with the 2B SST(2) and the 3B SST(2) amps on the Bryston website... "New SST 2 output devices"...

Its on the features list of all the SST(2) amps now that I've checked.

Regards, James

Hi Moon Doggy,

Looking back at the original announcement I think the "new output devices" on the feature list are referring to output chokes.

Hi Bill,

Thats what I thought as well. Looking back at the list of changes in the SST-2 series only the 7B SST-2 and the 14B SST-2 have the new output chokes. I guess the 28B had the chokes already before the new SST-2 series.  See here:http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=62600.100
