Do Nuforce products sound better with their tops off?

I've often found that preamps and power amps sound better without the unit tops on...I'm wondering if that's true with the Nuforce products?  Is it a problem to run the amps open?

Any input Jason?  I don't have pets or kids so I'm not concerned with anyone getting inside or getting shocked...I'm only interested in damage to the units...and sound quality...

Will RF interference increase?

Thanks in advance

No, you can't do that and it won't sound good either. The top cover is used as heatsink and provide RFI shielding.

I use HRS damping plates on top of my 9 SE V2’s, they are a cheap upgrade for the improvement they make. Check it out here www.avisolation.com/damping_plate.html

Don't know, but if she's hot...well, that only makes it better! :nono:
