Just got the BP-17.  I bought it specifically because of it's remote control capability.  However, not one thing works with the remote including power, volume, input selection, Code control...nothing.

The BR-2 works perfectly with my BCD, BDP and BDA from anywhere in the room but the BP-17 won't work even with the remote inches from the sensor.

The BR-2 is something less than 2 years old.

Are there different versions of the BR-2?  Shouldn't the BP-17 work with it?  Anyone have a suggestion?

I called Mike and the problem was solved in a couple of minutes.  The code for the BP-17 is 712.
