John,

It's nice to be here.  :D  I never knew about the VMPS forum, found it by accident.   :)

My passive radiator and the surround look perfect.

Is the plug painted black to match the cabinet?

Any pictures of the 15" driver? Is it a poly cone or woven carbon?

Any specs on it like power handling, efficiency, or possibly a good guess of what the in room -3dB point will be after it's installed?

I should be calling you soon to do the upgrade.

Thanks,  :thumb:

Early B.

I always wondered why the Tall Boy cabinet is no longer offered. I actually prefer the looks of the Tall Boy over the "horizontal" design of the 215 that I own or the New Larger cabinets. Takes up less floor space, too. I even tipped my 215 on its side, but it didn't look very good. Did WAF kill the Tall Boy?

I beleive the plug/plate is black, but B can confirm that, as I have not seen one.

Here is the 15" ULTRA-MegaWoofer mounted in the VSS.

In the VSS cabinet, it is said to have the following performance:

In the VSS cabinet it is zero dB down at 20Hz and will reproduce subsonics (-10dB/14Hz nearfield). Weight is 22 lbs for the driver.

B, will have to fill in other numbers.
