HDMI splitter
« on: 13 Feb 2008, 11:02 am »
Hi Guys,
What is out there that will take my HDMI out from my comcast cable box so I can feed it into my Kuro 60 and also run into my Panny AV receiver. I guess I'm looking for something with one input that splits the HDMI into two outputs. Any suggestions.
 Thanks,
 Bill

I found a nice three input one at Radio Shack.  It even learns to switch inputs from signals sent by your various remote controls.

Hi Bill,

I think the Oppo is also a good one.

I don't think that the oppo will work it is 3 in and one out he is looking for one in and 2 out.  I have a brand new one listed here http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=2557 that works, I bought 2 and now only need one.

One HDMI in, Three outputs.
1080p HD ready.
With remote control ('cause you need another one on sitting on your coffee table).

Again this is a 3 in and 1 out.  3 X 1 not 1 X 3

splitter = multiplier

so this is what the OP needs:

The HDMI Splitter allows a single HDMI device, such as a DVD player and a Satellite set-top box to display on up to 4 HDMI displays (HDTVs or Projectors).

no experience with it though
good luck

This is what you want, at least if you want to put something else there like a dvd player at the same time you can.  All for $100.00

I have 2 of them and they work fine.

Good luck.
