Direct Drivers - you ain't done all you can for our deck if you haven't used it. Your motor is
directly engaged to your oft-ringing aluminum platter - deaden it and enjoy your music
so much more.
Belt Drivers, ymmv, but in general it should be
quite beneficial for you.
Just make sure you prepare the surface by wiping grease and dirt off, and mask the spindle hole and outer platter to avoid sprayover. You may use about 4oz total, so there is little possibility of you adding undue mass or knocking your platter out of balance if yo use careful spray strokes.
