Hi Keith,

I feel like an idiot here - I just realized you have the SP1.7 not the SP2 - correct?

I have sent you the SP2 software.  For the SP1.7 we have to send a chip. What is the software date when you first start it up?

Don't feel bad....I'm starting to feel like an idiot :thumb:

But yeah, I have a SP1.7 (Serial #000553), with date code on the back 03 23.

There is no date on power up, it simply says DSP OK v1.03x and then it says SP 1.7 OS v43D.

Hi Keith,

OK - I found the problem.

The software you have in the SP1.7 does not support the reset code (254). The latest software is 44F1 which I would have to send you and you would have to remove the top cover and insert the microchip.

Great...at least that explains a lot :thumb: I was beginning to think I was losing it when I was trying all this stuff and nothing was working.

I will email you my address for mailing, or if its your policy to send it to the local dealer, it's West End Electronics in St. John's.
