Well guys, the HeadFi meet was a great success.
Mark and Alex from the GAS group came out to partake in the festivities. We ended up with four of the HeadFi guys dropping by, Kevin, Aaron and his friend and Ichinici.
Despite having plumbing problems (the tailpiece from my kitchen sink decided to rot out a day or two ago and emptied two days worth of drainage all over my Radii's), we were able to get the Redrum back in shape, the plumbing fixed and set up several listening stations setup for all the cans we had in house.
I set up the AH! with the Slee Solo MkIII, the Sony SACD with the Little Dot tube amp (great pairing BTW) and the Arcam with my DIY Altoids amp. Each of the guys brought two or three pairs of cans plus a amp or two. For the life of me, I can't remember what all was here but there was definitely some great sounding cans and amps. Maybe Kevin can chime in and help out with some of the guest gear.
So here's a couple of pics. Sorry about the quality, I'm still getting used to the new camera.
This one is of the Sony SACD and the Little Dot. Also, that is the iModded iPod that Vinnie does sitting next to the amp.

This one is of Kevin in the foreground, Alex and Mark sitting at a couple of the listening stations (I set up one source facing one direction and the other source facing another).

This one is of the HeadFi guys. Thats Aaron on his Mac, Ichinichi, Aaron's friend, and Kevin.

and finally the last listening station with the AH! paired to the Little Dot.

I've got to say it was completely refreshing having the HeadFi guys digging through and playing my Classical collection rather than looking for modern rock and alternative, not to mention Kevin going for some great old Zepplin and Pink Floyd.
I think we may have converted Ichinichi into a tube guy. He gave a listen to the Grape Room and then auditioned the same piece on the Fleapowered system in the Blue room. Needless to say, he's ruined for life. On the way out the door he was talking about bringing his girlfriend back so she could hear the difference.
It was a great time
