Has anyone out there setup a Maestro XL for both 2 channel stereo and home theater? I believe the older Maestro could be wired for both but the amp inputs for the Maestro XL seem to be different.

The newer, current amp does not have the separate theater input of the older amp. Not that many people used it, and in fact it seemed to confuse more people than it helped. Are you talking about using the Maestro XL with two different systems?

I have just one system. I wanted to try listening to the sub connected using the line level cables. I heard that configuration is better for two channel listening rather that using the sub out on my Rotel 1098. However I watch movies as well and would need to use the sub out for that purpose.
