What amperage are you guys running? I can see the 5v...

The LT1086 regulator in my SB3 PS is rated at 1.5A.

What values does the Jensen lytic cap have? How do you connect from main PS circuit to which poles of the cap? Which one you do not use? Thanks.

The Jensen in my SB3 PS is one of four 6,800uF/80V caps that I originally used in a Tripath amp PS.  Two are being used in a SLA powered LM4780 chip amp I just completed.  The fourth one pooped it's electrolytic goop all over my workbench when I hooked it up wrong.

The idea behind using the Jensen in this position is to provide one final noise trap/filter as well as additional energy storage before the DC gets to the SB3.  Note that the LT1086 regulator also needs a smaller value cap on the output to keep it from oscillating, thus the 11uF ERSE in parallel with the Jensen.

The four connections on the Jensen are +in, -in, +out and -out.  So the +/- DC output from the regulator goes to the +/- input of the cap.  The +/- output of the cap connects directly to the DC cable.  When I connect the cap I have to be staring at the datasheet connection diagram to make sure I get it right.
