VSS subwoofer as a support for a component.

Is it possible to use the VSS sub to support a turntable or does it vibrate too much? I am at a loss for space.

The VSS can be used as a stand but with a turntable, I would suggest an intermediate damping layer.  This can be an innertube with a flat piece of MDF on top, or similar isolation.  While I would not place the TT directly on the woofer, it should be fine sitting on an isolated platform on top of the woofer.

What about a wall mount shelf then?

I see no problem with a wall mount shelf.  The VSS can be used as a stand with some additional isolation, as suggested.

The isolation suggestion sounds like just the ticket.

Thanks
