Piano MLS

I was just reading about he Piano MLS finish and I was wondering if I can do this myself. I have the African Ebony MLS 626R. I'm not sure I would actually do it but the pictures look pretty impressive - I'm happy with the satin finish but the glossy looks good in the picture and I may give it a try if it is doable. A couple of hours of rubbing wouldn't hurt me.

The glaze is 3M 05996, available at Carquest, Napa and other auto parts outlets.  You'll need a good electric buffer with a cotton pad.

A couple of hours of rubbing would be good for MOST of us

Haha - Sounds like you can take your speakers to the next cosmetic level with a little effort.
Let us know how it works out.

Thanks for the info Brian. I thought about using a car glaze but didn't know if it would harm the finish. Being as I have a bottle of Meguir's car glaze I guess I'm forced to do it.
