I had some time last night so I finished up the wiring on my "half-kit" Hagerman Bugle phono preamp and power supply.

The circuit boards for the preamp and the power supply are $25.00 each.
http://www.hagtech.com/bugle.htmlThey come with a very nice manual that includes all the part numbers for the parts you need to order from Digi-Key.
I decided to use Dale/Vishay 1/8 watt resistors and I upped the capacitor values for the power supply. I also used matched WIMA caps in the phono section.
The power cable is a NITRO hard wired to the PS board. I used NITRO interconnect cable for input and ouput to the phono section. I also installed a pair of Bybee purifiers on the inputs to the board
It worked just fine the first time I powered it up. I also bought Mr. Hagerman's inverse RIAA filter
http://www.hagtech.com/iriaa.html and I am using that with the output from my DI/O to break the preamp in.
I took a very quick listen to it when I first powered it on through a used MMF-5 I recently picked up. It is VERY dynamic already. It does need break-in time, but I am VERY pleased with the sound for a just built piece.
Now I need to work on the MMF-5, doing the tweaks Mike Galusha has written about and I HAVE to do something about the power cable and interconnects that come with it
