I'll play around with it and see if anything changes. Hopefully not by much 'cause it does sound awesome as it is.

Switched back to vinyl about 18 months ago now and am up some 800 records so far (compare to 450 CD's in 18 years).

Basically the more I listen to my system the further back in time I seem to go. Good grief if my Grandfather came back to life (he died in 1956) he would have no problem with my system as it stands now. Vinyl, tubes, Klipsch Heresy speakers (originally designed in 1951 - although this is the Heresy 2 to be fair).

The only modern item I now use is the REL Strata 3 sub - a must with Heresies..

Yup  - vinyl all the way....until someone makes me an offer on a cylinder playing machine so that my Great great grandfather might recognise it...
