OK, so I have some Wima 1uf's in the c200 and c206 position and I was wondering if it's worth changing these to something better, like auricaps. Will a better cap change the sonics much or are the wimas ok?

It depends on what type of WIMAs you have.  The sound will change, as each cap leaves it's own signature.

That's a good question...  I'm not sure how much those bypass caps influence the sound, and I haven't experimented with mine, but I did upgrade to Jupiters in the signal path...  (they aren't recommended for use as bypass caps).  I might guess that a nice upgrade would be to replace the electrolytics with Solens or similar, and I don't think you would bypass them...(?)  If you try something different report back - I'm interested...
