They run from $400/pair (JBL 305 Mk2) on up to $15,000 for Dutch & Dutch 8C and come in plain jane versions to those including wireless connection, DAC, and room EQ. Active monitors are used by nearly all recording and mixing studios and provide accuracy, stunningly deep bass, and superior imaging.
