Not sure if this was posted before, I did a search and didn't come up with anything.

Good article on a build process for the X-Bravo speaker in Fine Woodworking Magazine and website.

This is pretty cool. It's been years since I've subscribed, but my hope is that this will make more folks aware of the hobby or inspire those who are already in it. Nice end result.

Well, the boxes look really good.

Oh no, he should not have oriented the coils that way.

The cheap acoustic foam that he got from Parts Express has a suspended barrier layer in it that will really muddy up the midrange.

Please, please do not put that stuff in any of our designs.

Funny how I was looking at the boxes and build as a woodworker and kinda skimmed the crossover part, and as a speaker designer you probably got the chills and shakes with the crossovers and dampening material. :lol:

Apparently so.   
Was it just me or did you too experience a bit of pucker factor when edge-notching a box you just spent a bunch of hours building?
