It is 9:30am here. I made a post about 5 minutes ago, but it shows on the board here that it was 5:25pm when I posted? Do I have to make some change in my settings on my end in order for the correct time to register?

Go to your profile, then on the far left side click Look & Layout and there's an option for Time Offset. Click Auto Detect then at the bottom click Change Profile (save).

I did as you suggested and it solved the problem.
