For sale is a pair of Audiokinesis Azel stand mount speakers in satin natural walnut in 8/10 condition.
With a 12-inch mid-woofer, the Azels excel at dynamics and provide a much fuller sound than typical monitors. The Radian compression driver provides all the detail and shimmer of the cymbal, bells, etc. one would hope for. The midrange is better than expected from a 12" Eminence woofer. The greater ambiance is provided by a rear-firing compression driver.
These speakers offer a backstage pass to a whole new immersive experience. The overall sound is "dreamy and creamy." The main improvements are the dynamics and the fullness of sound. Piano sustains are longer and music flutters higher in space.
Let’s face it – most music is dynamic. A tiny 6" midrange on a 2-way monitor won’t be dynamic – that’s just physics. To get dynamics and scale, you gotta go big. With the Audiokinesis Azels, music is a lot more fun to listen to because they provide the “wow!” factor, and that’s what matters most.
