Distance between AKSA 100 main board and transformer

I will soon start on the chasis for AKSA 100N and I got one question: Which is the minimum lenght between shielded toroid transformer and AKSA main board?
In my case is 40 mm between toroid and 7.5 A fuse on the main board. Is it enough, or should I change my chassis plan?

Hi Rimljan99,
40mm is fine. As long as your earthing is correct, there will be no hum at all.
Cheers,

For queries like this you can learn a lot by having a look at what others have done.

See my 100W (Ian Miller - about the 8th one from the top). I had about 25mm separtion on this amp. That amp since sold to a happy AKSAphile and replaced with a 55N+.
A few amps in the gallery on that web page and lots more in the forum gallery (at the top of page 1 of the forum) with less than 40mm separating transformer and main board.
CAUTION: If using EI cored transformers rather than toroids then I would leave 40mm minimum separation.
Cheers,
Ginger.
