Looks like multiple creative solutions however, being a Lean Manufacturing Engineer that is always looking for the most simple & effective solution... one could with a pair of pliers ever so lightly make the male connector out of round IE: very slightly oval.  This will increase the fit friction into the female connector... and done!   :thumb:

So you should be asking why five times to address the root cause of the problem and not simply apply a band aid?

Making it out of round will reduce the contact surface area. Will this impact the sound?

If it's slipping out I'm thinking the contact is already not that good.

Yes, and I think Danny acknowledged that in an earlier post.

If these plugs are loose to the point of coming apart, any additional devices designed simply to hold them in ... springs, rubber bands and even crimping ... are missing the point because they do not improve the contact area to a high level [the essential here], they only hold the connectors together, with diminished contact area.

You could possibly use something like silver conductive paste here but really you've got two options 1) get hold of some larger diam. male pins [or smaller sockets] that will give you a good contact surface area or 2) do away with connectors and connect your external speaker wires directly to the circuit boards in the speaker box.

I just got my tube connectors yesterday (along with the crossover and drivers :green:), and they fit as snug as a bug in a rug! So I'm not sure if I just got lucky, or if something changed. But I don't foresee this being an issue for me. If anything, I may as Danny suggested, take a gentle pliers around them to increase the grip ever so slightly, along with Mikes suggestion of the 11mm bit.

A look into my 'Christmas Morning' of unpackaging the components :thumb:

Yes, we've started checking them & using pliars on the female ends tube of the connectors before we send them out. Some are already quite snug from the get go, but there's some that need a little help, so best to check them all before sending them out.  :thumb:

Generally tho, I try to squeeze them from 2 or 3 positions to help keep their shape without crushing the inner copper tube at any one spot.
