Danley Sound Labs for the home

Yes it is true, believe it or not.  Per website and facebook, Signature Series is coming.  This is a great happy new year!  Did I mention it's for the home.  What do you guys and gals think?

Danley is not giving much away at this stage as to what the Signature Series consists of, design-wise, on the website.
I didn't check facebook—I try to stay away!

Totally interested! Danley is awesome! I have fond memories from my audition several years ago:

Tom has been making noises about a home version for a decade. I heard fellow AC member Eric's (launche) system with SH50s and TH50 it was very impressive with cherry amp, especially the super clean and dynamic mid bass of the SH50s. What I love most about Danleys is their flat phase response despite having a 3 way crossover. It really helps make a natural tone and the feeling of "aliveness." Hopefully that will be maintained, and hopefully he got his wife's approval on the looks.

This will be interesting. Hopefully they aren't too wimpy or cheap.

I kind of hope they are "wimpy" relative to their pro speakers, as in not needing to blast off an auditorium roof with decibels.  Medium high output capability while maintaining the phase response and clarity.  All at a lower price point for non-pro, home use.   :thumb:

Danley is a commercial speaker however the diy crowd pay close attention to Danley.  I hope he offers low, medium, and high prices.  And last I hope the speakers look good.  Does looking good increase the price?

I would be surprised if it is less than $25K retail.

This is available now at $12.5K, attach a source/pre, DONE:

I found it disappointing that it's all active. His commercial speakers are not...

And a fabric dome handing everything over 2 kHz... this combined with DSP'ing everything is not what I had hoped to see but I won't prejudge.

Not in my book. In my book it's an awful PITA for almost no returns.
