What sort of connector from power supply box to signal box?

I've had the 2 Bugle (Hammond) boxes sitting open and hardwired together but now it's time to make them pretty. Since it's just 15VDC will ordinary RCA's handle the (+) and (-) or something more specialised needed?

RCAs could handle it fine, but I don't like using them for power because sooner or later you make a mistake wiring things up and could damage components. I like using the standard DC power jacks/plugs so you always know what you're dealing with.

Do you just have three wires? +, - and ground? Used an XLR imo, they even make 5 pin XLRs now if you were to have more voltages. For my tube preamp, I am moving the iron to a seperate box and using a 6 pin Amphenol connector but that is because some are high voltage and quite a few secondaries. Amphenol connector that I have is a bit spendy ($25 & $8, m/f). There is also neutrik Powercon which are killer power connectors and made for such a job.

All the Powercon I found are 3 pole. It seems the Bugle would require 4 pole. These are Speakercon.

I was thinking of XLR for this app. They come in 3 pin (what we are use to) 4pin and 5 pin.

The Bugle should only require two poles for power.

You only need 3 wires for Bugle power. That's XLR, or twisted pair plus shield, or two dc jacks, or anything with 3 separate connections.
