Aksa TLP's Transformer Rating

Hi,

I do understand that the transformer for the TLP is custom made with 150V and 6 Volts Secondary out. But I did not manage to find its VA rating. Would anyone here help me determine the VA rating for the TLP transformer.

Hi Junior,

It's rated at 25VA, and uses grain oriented silicon steel to better contain the magnetic circuit and thus reduce hum and operating temperature.

Please do help me in understanding the transformer winding in the Aksa TLP.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Primary Winding: 115-0-115-0
Secondary Winding: 150-0 (or 75-0-75-0)
6.3-0
15-0-15 (for future development)

Hi Junior,

Primary is correct.
Secondary HT is simply 0-150V (no center tap)
Filament is 6.0V (to lengthen life of the filament and accommodate higher mains voltages, which are extremely common these days)
CT supply is 17-0-17Vac.

But what do CT means?
