Here are 164 used choiced from which to pick:

I'd say anything that functions will be pretty darn good given that these things have very low resale value.  But they are great for this application.  I have a 5.1 receiver, so I use the internal DACs.  Just make sure you have a toslink input and don't buy some $50 Toslink, it should be no more than about $10-$15 for the Toslink mini to Toslink cable.

I can hardly believe there's this many Apple people here, this is a good sign!

Congrats on the new iBook.  I just bought a 15" Powerbook last week to replace my year old iBook 14" which I am giving to my Mom.  I was a PC guy for a long time and now I can't understand why anyone would use a PC unless they have very specific software that only runs on Windows.

The spyware thing is just completely out of control.  My parents have been paying some guy a couple hundred bucks every few months to revive their PC because it is so constipated with spyware.

Anti Windows rebellion seems to be picking steam as of late.  As soon as I get this year's tax return, I will be shopping for a loaded Powerbook. Constipated with spyware is a great analogy.

After 20 days my new iBook finally showed up.  Thanks, guys, for the Apple recommendation.

Now if I can only figure out how it works
