This is a Micro Seiki DDX-1000 turntable with original power supply and rubber mat. A heavy aftermarket copper mat and record weight are also included as is the Denon DA-302 12” tonearm with Denon headshell.
Note that any tonearms other than the Denon DA-302 pictured are not included, and no tonearm cable is supplied. Mounting boards supplied include an AX-1G, AX-3, and 2 x AX-1. Up to 3 tonearms can be mounted simultaneously as seen in the photos. The table runs smooth and quiet and looks very good for its age, but to be conservative I will rate it 7/10.
This 1970s design was ahead of its time with separate power supply and two sculpted strobe markings around the 2kg / 31cm die cast aluminum platter. The starting torque is 1.2kg / cm and load characteristics allow the DDX-1000 to remain below 0,04% deviation up to a 3g load set at the outer limit of the platter. Speed accuracy is 0.03%. The height-adjustable feet contain a mix of inert damping (neoprene) and mechanical damping. The MD-1000 power-supply box holds the power on/off, start 33rpm, start 45rpm, and stop buttons plus two ± 6% speed controls.
Price is $1400. If your preferred method of payment is PayPal add 3.5% for the fee.
I purchased this table a few years ago locally and prefer a local sale/pick up (located in SF Bay Area), but will ship as well to lower US 48 at buyers expense.
