These drives appear to still be available via ebay from Germany.

Laufwerk für Bryston BCD-1 Cadanz Moon Harbor Cairn Via Soft Canor CD2 VR

Does anyone know if this is the complete/correct unit including laser, etc?

Hi James

I can’t see the model # in the ebay listing, but this looks like the same drive.

We can also buy them direct from China, but they don’t work.  This could be the same thing, or it could be a genuine Philips part that someone has been hoarding.

Hi James....It would be a great thing if "Stream Unlimited" would produce a serious replacement drive for all the great BCD 1s out there.
