I know 300 watts ?
Believe me it's enough to drive this woofer. Claimed (100 db) efficiency.
It will shake your listening chair if you want it to.
But to tell the truth I don't turn it past 1/3 up. (Loud Enough)
Most of the time I use it at the lowest possible audible level (1/8 up), just for the lowest bass notes.
I have never turned it up past 2/3 up, NEVER !!!Not sure about other brands , but it blends VERY WELL with my SEAS PENDRAGONS !!!
This was a MAJOR step up from the (15") "Definitive Technologies" sub I was using. Both in Sound Quality & Output.
I told ERIC of Tekton The main objective for me when I bought it was :
(1) it must blend better than my previous sub.
(2) No funky "thud" noises, Real bass frequencies.
I would have sent it back if I didn't like it ,(believe me). It does what he said it would. I do like it. " IMO" It blends way better & sounds a lot more realistic .
The only reason I'm selling is to get a pair of TEKTON subs that will fit the room better (WAF). 2 of these subs just won't fit, or I would not loose the money I spent on this one.
The Wife (Boss ) will not allow 2 of these in the living rm.
I will be happy to demo the sub as it is in my current system.
