For sale is my lightly-used Dennis Had KT-88 HO single ended stereo amplifier. I purchased this about a year ago but have now upgraded to one of his PSE amps at twice the price. I now have more amps than I can use and it is time for some of my equipment to find new homes.
It is identical to the current model (

This version, without the IIPS is much more sensitive to rectifier changes, and you can really hear the difference between really nice rectifier tubes.
This amp will run almost any tetrode or pentode you can fit with or without adapters. These include EL84, EL34, 6V6, 6L6, KT66, KT77, KT88, KT120, or KT150. Output power runs from 5wpc with 6V6 to 12wpc with KT88. This is a tube-rollers dream and a lot of fun. It runs extremely quiet and while it sounds like a tube amp, it does not sound like what Dennis calls an "old man's amp".
The amp does like a bit of gain upstream, so a preamp or higher output DAC would be best with this. I think a fantastic system would be an iFi iDSD Black, this amplifer, and a pair of Omega speakers.
