Hello, Is the DAC in the BP26-DA equivalent to BDA1 or BDA2. Is it upgradeable? Thanks

No, it uses a single chip set, as opposed to one per channel in the BDA-1 & 2.  I don't believe it is upgradeable either.

HI

It is a Crystal DAC but only has resolution up to 48K which is OK if CD quality only is required.  It is not upgradable and I usually recommend going with the BDA2 if you want full 192 resolution capability.

It was a while ago and I believe BP25's were 48 and BP26's were 96.
