Roderstein resistor colour codes

Hi all,

I've just received a batch [92] resistors for use in an Elma stepped attenuator. I'm perplexed though. These are Roderstein (Resista) resistors from Michael Percy and they use  5 band [on green] and 6 band [on blue] colur coding system. I'm familiar with 3  or 4 band systems but can someone tell me where I can find a decoder for 5 and  6 band systems?

It's pretty easy.

RED BROWN (in one end) which all of your resistors have is 200 ppm temp coeff, 1% tolerance.

If you go from the other end

number, mumber, number, multiplier, tolerance, temp co

I don't think I know about six bands :o Thanks for that info peranders ;)

Anyway, being more cautious now than in my reckless youth, I recommend always double-checking with a meter anyway, before inserting into board/switch/whatever.
