If the wife would like you to go take your portable audio setup. Ipod/SansaClip whatever and a good pair of ear monitors and enjoy the show!
Spending time with the fam will make you "The Man"...!

Then again I'm just spit balling or the Scotch is talking!

I had 4 tix.  Wife was going to go with my daughter and 2 friends.  I was out of the loop, so I thought.

I got word last week that I am going to the concert.  I asked what happened and this is what.

My daughter overbooked and 3 of her friends said yes.  All three of her friends are really excited (even the one who acts too cool to like Taylor publicly) and we don't have the heart to disinvite one.  We are not ready to let them go by themselves either.  So my wife's solution was to get 2 more tix and we are going on a date to Taylor Swift concert.  4 13 years olds are going to sit together in our original seats.  And we the parents are going to be in a section one over and up.  This all happened without me in the loop.  I was just told I am going and I will enjoy it.

So there you have it.  I will be at Taylor's concert tonight.    :thankyou:

The show was a spectacle.  I absolutely used a good pair of ear plugs or my ears would still be ringing.  She puts up a good show but it's not my cup of tea.  Too much talk and hardly any live instrument.  Surprise guest appearance of Lorde was good as my daughter loves her.  In fact, for her middle school talent show, she sang Royals which Taylor and Lorde sang on the stage.  So that was good.  The little girls enjoyed it.  I was happy they enjoyed it.  :thumb:

woodsyi,

Condolences.

What are all the lights that look like stars.  Please tell me they aren't cell phone cameras.

They handed out wrist bands at the gate.  LED wrist bands are the latest concert gizmos.  It's actually pretty cool.  Like the lighters of yore, cell phone light too is now passé.

Yes,  we gave all 4 girls ear plugs.  They were sitting closer to the stage.  They told me they used them.
