My SAM's sound great on the Large Isoacoustic stands closer to the floor & tilted back. Given the affordability & adjust-ability of the Isoacoustic stands I think they are a great deal.

What model of the Isoacoustic stand do you use - ISO-L8R200? I am thinking about this stand for my new SAMs.
