Ceedee
What's the name for the stands. Man, I want some of them. But, I don't have any speakers I could put on stands right now, but I may some day. Seriously.

Hello Harley,

The stand in the picture are Solid-Tech from Sweden.

http://www.solid-tech.net/products/radius-models-4533565

The black are called Radius Stand @ 620 mm or 720 mm

The aluminium version in one of the pictures are custom made with hardstone cut in the same shape of the speaker.

We supply them from Europe.

All the best,

Cor

There is a new model of stands that VSA has recently created for the Uni2. Its all black and wooden with two square shaped pillars. IMHO  they look better than the other stand models i have seen for the Uni2.

See it here..

Interesting!

Is there more info about these stands? The conception and the "interface" between the stand and the speaker?

I also read good comments about Sound Anchors.

Thank you roxito for your pictures!

Could you just tell me what is used as interface between the stand and the speaker? (I can see small transparent pads?) Is the speaker attached to the stand or it can fall?

Thank you  :D

Hi Fab,
those are just standard transparent rubbery pads... they offer a non slip type grip. The speaker is not fixed or attached to the stand in any other way. It seems like the speaker is too heavy and is wide to need any additional attachment to stand. I tried to gently push it to see if would easily topple. due its weight, it actually feels like it is attached to the stands. Not likely to topple easily. These stands also have a very wide base which make it quite stable overall. if you are worried about it falling over... even if it  were fixed to the stands ... it could just topple along with the stands.
