Feet for a Billy Bags Rack?
« on: 26 Jul 2013, 09:17 pm »
I recently purchased a Billy Bags rack that was in good shape (model #4803, I think). However, it is missing the feet. I am wondering if anyone here might know of a good alternative to the spiked feet that originally came with the rack. The rack will be setup on hardwood floors.

The guy I bought it from suggested looking for furniture glides. The bottom of the feet each have an insert for 1/4" x 20 thread.

Any ideas? Or should I get the threaded feet and then what do I use to protect the hardwood floor?

Thanks!

I ordered my double wide BBags rack with the factory glide feet. Maybe a spike would possibly sound better, but the practicality of being able to slide the rack when I need to move it works for me. As far as I know, you can still order whatever style of foot you want from the factory. They used to be listed on their website, but the new website kinda s*cks compared to the old one IMO. If you decide to go with spikes, there are many choices of floor protectors to use under them. Herbie's sells some good ones.
