You can roll (and replace if necessary) tubes in most any preamp ..... except for the Vincents with soldered-in mini tubes.

That confounds me.

Musical Fidelity used the soldered in mini tubes in the X-10 tube buffer. they were the first tubes that I ever used in a two channel rig and they sounded very good  :thumb:

Phone bryston and mcIntosh,It will and does work,,TRIGGER :thumb:

I used the top and bottom of connector,sheild and white wire of the 1/8 stereo cable

Works great,, :D

FYI, I have tried the 4BSST2 with several preamplifier using unbalance and balance. In a Bryston rig there are better synergy in balance connection even when connected with other brands of preamplifier I have the same results.  The BP26 is a tough one to beat and its a bloody fine preamplifier for the money. You will need to fork out real money to beat that and I can assure you will be happy for a long time!
