DEQX HDP-3 jumper settings
« on: 23 Feb 2013, 04:59 am »
Anybody have the docs for the internal gain & sensitivity jumpers handy?  (I've mailed DEQX but no reply yet.)

Paul, I assume you've heard from Alan by now? If not I have a hard copy I can scan.

vv - your question is a bit confusing.... could you elaborate a bit more?

I thought i could pass a USB flac files to these DEQX and make it act as a DAC for my music server....

if it it able to take USB signal if it is not able to take USB signal can i use a USB to SPDIF converter and pass the songs DEQX....

let me know if i am still not clear...

Hi, the current HDP-4 accepts USB I believe, the earlier models would need a USB-SPDIF convertor. However, the DEQX is a crossover/EQ, using it just as a DAC would not really make sense - ?

This is a schematic of the HDP-3, which has variable input sensitivity.  The diagram describes the settings for the jumpers, which are in the green box, and corresponding sensitivity levels.
