seems to be. it looks like that if you want an 8" driver from Louis, you go to his Hoyt Bedford line which offer amazing value anyhow

I have to say, the stripey look of the ebony maccassar just doesn't do it for me

Me either (we have all natural cherry furniture), but that (and the extra cost) are the risk of custom finishes.   :roll:
