Whilst listening to "all sounds concidered"  (great source for music on NPR)I heard a track from  Jolie Holland and can place her voice and style somewhere between Nora Jones and LadyDay. Haven't picked it up yet been doing the pop rock thing lately

Just picked up the new disc from Spoone and love it .Very remanicent
 of Squeeze / XTC and the Beatles but with a sleightly newer pop sound .
 Has anyone heard their earlier releases?
